nfsmonk, the races are however you and your opponent decide them to be, if you want them use them, if not don't use them, as long as you are both in agreement.

Are these ladder races straight up, without powerups? Ahh thats a good call Monk. Looks like I left out that part when I revised the rules. HOWEVER, when Mopar did the Superbee event, I think he had a good idea on powerups that we could use for this lader comp. Quoted From Mopars thread: "Powerups lvl 1-19 No powerup restrictions! lvl 20-29 3 Nos + Your choice of 1 Juggernaut, Shield or Slingshot lvl 30-39 2 Nos + Your choice of 1 Juggernaut, Shield or Slingshot lvl 40-50 1 Nos + Your choice of 1 Juggernaut or Slingshot" So I think we should refine that set and maybe use it for the ladder comps. Will help lower levels bridge the gap a little bit, and the introduction of a Slingshot could really provide for some more racecraft to be involved in the races rather than just pure speed. I think we could leave out juggers and shields, as juggers could potentially cause conflicts (ie ramming disputes) and shields are pretty well useless unless your going to be using traffic magnets. Once we decide if this is a good idea, I might clean up the tables, archive this thread and put the ladder and rules in a new clean thread. Also, once we decie on what wil possibly be the final format for the ongoing ladder comp, I think I will pffer a few prizes as an incentive to get them going a bit more full on. i think everything is good as it is now, its all about the drivers and how they decide to run event. I think we need more action in existing ladder, and who cares about powerups. I usually dont use them at all... I dont mind about it. Do whatever you like I offered new t3 ladder callenge with my Boss... and nobody accepted it... |
