well, i am working night shifts this weekend, i'm actually at work right now, having a break (fortunately my depot is like 3 mins walk from my home ;D), i finish tomorrow morning @4 a.m., go to bed for a couple of hours, and then i'll try to PM them, hopefully it will work, the Forums are "reading only", but the rest should work OK..

Also we should have set out what track(s) are goin to be raced and what rules there are regarding powerups, are all of them allowed, or none, or only a select few?

well, i just sent a PM to Swing regarding the time of this event, hopefully he'll read it. gave him the link to our topic here too, so he can pop in at any time, and we should be able to arrange things together.
regarding the powerups - those should not be allowed, except for Nitrous. i mean, this event should be "life-like", so to speak, and there is no "Slingshot" or "Juggernaut" in a real life racing. Nitrous yes. and there should be a limit of, let's say, two NOS uses per race, representing two NOS bottles installed per car, which is roughly as it is in reality. this should give us all an equal opportunities.
but we'll see what Tuners will say, if they pay us a visit, so let's wait for their response.

About the NOS:
2 would be okay, but normally we don´t use any Powerups....it´s up to you.
About the tracks:
Verona Tunnel
Westpark&Lyons
Beachfront
Waterfront (the Circuit)
btw....are there any other tracks you would love to drive on?

Allowed cars:
I would say we should stick to the classic ones, and leave out the OP Tuners:
Silvia, 240SX, Corolla and RX7
Dodge Challenger and Charger and Pontiac GTO and Super Bee
vs.
Evo 9, Impreza, the Nissan Z´s, IS-F, Supra, Eclipse, R34,(Mazda3( no classic))
Let me know if there is anything else I should know!

well, great to see people are ready for action. i hope we'll all (us "Musclers") be online to do a bit of serious racing. i'll be available until 8:25 p.m. GMT+1. if anything changes we'll post it here, and try to contact "Tuners" in game with details.

and regarding the tracks - those mentioned (by JSFAST) are OK for me, i'd recommend Stadium&HWY99, or Lyons&HWY201.

Darnit.. unfortunately for me 8pm GMT is 5pm my time and i'll be gone to work at that time.

hm, same with me. bad luck as hell. gotta go, gotta run, something important came out and i can't make it @ 8:00 p.m.
so let's arrange another time and date, but this time we should all agree with it at least a day before the race(s).
so what do you say on Thursday, 23. June @ the same time?
i must apologize to our Tuner friends, it looks like we've let them down a bit, but it wasn't our intention at all. hope this will not make a scratch in our relationship, or future events. it would be a shame, 'cause it could be really interesting.
so what do you guys say on that time&date?

Heh... I somehow screwed it up as well. I didn't check here, before I went in game yesterday. I was on at 2:00pm till about 2:45pm est. Somehow or other I was thinking that would be the right time  Anyway... I'm up for taking another shot at all this sometime this week or the weekend. How about I officially appoint mzprx and sneakerskunks to work it out with JSFast, since you guys are all Euro? When a time is worked out to meet I'll do my level best to get in on the action... even though I know I'll take a whoopin...lol.  |
