To begin with we started here: forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5774238.page
NFSMCC: is the abbreviated version of Need For Speed Muscle Car Club. NFSMCC fits much better into a URL than the latter
This is just a little statement that contains information about what the NFSMCC is and who we are. Followed by a few comments about what and who we are not.
1. We are: A group of NFS and NFSW players who share a common interest in muscle cars found both within the confines of the Need for Speed family of games, and without as well.
2. We come from various crews, clubs, clans, groups, and forums. We do not require you to tag your in game profile (unless you want to), nor do we discourage you from belonging to another crew or club, in order to be a member or participate in NFSMCC events, meets, or shows.
3. We do expect you to show at least a modicum amount of respect and civility towards others when you are on this forum and when you are participating in club sponsored events, meets, or shows.
4. We want to (first and foremost), have fun. That is the main reason we are keeping the club somewhat informal and not requiring our members to jump through a lot of hoops or devote an inordinate amount of time to this venture. You are the one who ultimately decides your level of participation.
5. With regards to "4" above: If you do decide to sign on to participate in an event, meet, or show... we would like an advanced notice (if at all possible), should you not be able to attend. We understand that real life and family events take precedence over what goes on in an online video game. We are not going to get mad and ban you from the internets
6. We do not hack or exploit glitches in the game: I've been playing PC games for a number of years. I am not naive enough to believe that a hacker may never join this site or club sometime in the future. However; should I ever find out that you are hacking or otherwise exploiting the game, using hacks at events/meets/shows, or promoting hacks or exploits on this forum... the ban hammer comes out. Neither do I tolerate hackusations (whether unfounded or not), on these forums. If you suspect someone is hacking or exploiting the game, I suggest going to EA/BB with whatever proof and/or suspicions you might have. We have no pull with EA/BB here...this is basically a fan site. We can't ban anybody from the game.
This will be revised at a later date as more members come into the club, and changes are made to the game.
I'm leaving the thread as a sticky (yet unlocked), so that members can make suggestions, comments, or express their concerns. It's a living charter
