Heh... I figure we all have something that we listen to on a regular basis. Whether it's the flavor of the month or an old standby band/artist, feel free to post it in this thread. This time of year my thoughts are drawn to the crash of the Freebird (77 Lynyrd Skynyrd plane) which happened 0ct 20 1977. Skynyrd was a hometown band and was about all Jacksonville Fl was known for before the Jaguars and a Super Bowl. With the exception of a few esoteric bands, there hasn't been much in the way of earthy, Southern, rock in recent times. Except... maybe... these guys. Good songwriters and all around good musicians, who put on a great show wherever they go. Nothing blows up... the drums don't levitate... they don't smash their guitars... they usually only play small clubs and regional festivals... but they put everything they got into it wherever they go. The Driveby Truckers. PS: Skynyrd gets their own damn thread on the 20th

Nice, Juat found out the Soundwave line up for overe here nexrt year. www.soundwavefestival.com/System, Skip a few then it's back to the 90's baby, when I was finishing school and learning good music. Machine head, Biohazard for me, the rest is just a bonus. also, a lot of bands here will never be in australia again. they gettin too old like me. Another one I'm gonna have to find the money for this year is this years Big day out lineup.bigdayout.com/At 1st it was only for the sentimental Soundgarden value, but once I looked through the line up, theres some quality shit right there. not to mention "Tony Hawk" wtf? ? Gonna have to take an extra bottle of "Aspirins" for him when the old geezer does his back in, lol Haha.

I have come across a couple of places to create a nice Playlist if you like. One is FineTune, the disadvantage is that you have to have a certain amout of songs in your created playlist before you can listen to it. Another is this one... Pop Out Player from Playlist.comOther than that... I like Linkin Park. And of course, my favorite all time dude...

it's not often I listen to any music at all when playing a driving game, I prefer to hear the cars, but when I do listen its usually a mix of Motorhead, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies, Accept amongst many others in my 300gigs of music ;D

wow guys, seems we not only have a love of muscle, but a love of music as well.
Alice Cooper was on over here recently programming Rage (a friday/saturday night music show).
1st song on would you believe was the ace of spades, followed by a couple more motorhead tunes, manson and Suicuidals also made Mr Coopers list. ^^ I think he would have picked slipknot as well but maybe he's too old?
Lol

I remember seeing Alice Cooper on the Smothers Brothers TV show when I was a kid. He did "You Can Go to Hell" and my mom freaked out...lol. Started going on about the music being drug oriented
