Well thats the last time i ever try to help anybody out in a game forum.. Tuesday i was reading some "help" topics at the NFSW bug report forum, and one guy was asking for help with a problem he had when buying card packs.. (didnt get a pro part when he bought a gold pack)

So i told him to give the EA support number a call, and listed the EA customer supports phone number.. AND THEY BANNED ME FOR IT!!! lol..

I called customer support (the very number i got banned for posting lol) and the guy looked at my account and told me that, "yeah you got banned for 72hr for posting personal information, in this case, your phone number"...

And i was like..

I didn't post MY phone number... I posted YOUR phone number!!!..

The support rep was like.. "do what?".. lol.. So he looked up the topic and was like.. "holy crap, that IS our number".. And told me.. "thats really stupid, hang on, let me see if i can get you unbanned".. Few minutes later he said his supervisor didnt have the ability to "reactivate" my account, but also agreed that it was really stupid.. So i have to just ride out the ban for 3 days..

Then i got kinda angry as was like.. "dude you gotta be kidding me!.. Iv invested well over $1500 into this game alone, im a good customer.. There are cheaters and hackers running rampant in your companys game, and they never get in trouble for it.. I post YOUR customer support phone number in YOUR forum, and i get BANNED for it?

Supervisor jumped on, and apologized, and told me that he thought it was really stupid to ban me for that. That probably the forum moderator didnt even read the post.. Just saw the phone number and banned me.. Or maby one of the "non-english" speaking moderators saw it, and just noticed the phone number, then banned me..

So i said.. "What the hell are "non-english" speaking moderators doing moderating a "english speaking" forum? .. "This is total Bullshit!"..

He apologized again, and said he would fix it if he could, but he doesnt have the ability to reactivate my account, and i would just have to wait it out.. But as compensation, ill have 8000 free boost waiting for me when i log back in..

lol..

Gotta love EA.. :

They kinda jump to conclusions quickly and make a lot of rash decisions over there don't they?

I reckon shit happens, and at least you're getting compensated for it. But still... wtf? I guess 72hrs gives you time to really get into that Batman game ehh?

Where they ban you from all the EA games on that particular account? Just curious... EA is known for that.

Just curious... EA is known for that.

Not sure, as i dont play any other EA games on my PC other than NFSW.. I couldent log into the EA site with my account though, so yeah probably.

hehe, yeah EA is crazy.

Untill recently I hadn't spent a dime in game, yet I had reciever 12k boost and 4 free purchases due to all different problems.

So recently, being the good supporter of games that I am, decided I wanted the mustang boss.

So I went and bought a starter pack of Origin store, little to know that you needed the Boost purchase from their website to get the Boss.

1st thing that happened, the Started pack didn't come with the cars, so I went to live chat and whinged, in the meantime I bought a chevelle and some card packs with the boost I had. They couldn't fix it but the dude gave me a code for 2 purchases and enabled the Supra for me for free (I always wanted one, one of my Fav RL cars of the modern era).

Oh I forgot to mention that I went to origin and asked for a refund, not thinking it worked, so anyways.

Nesxt day I notice the refund in my bank account, so I go look to my account to e what they have taken away.

it was all there still, all the free stuff, my left over boost and the cars. So I bought the top up and got the boss, and got another 10k boost on top of the free 8k and cars I just got.

Gotta love these EA peeps, the way they identify and fix problems evades me but at this stage I'm not complaining (not untill I think I can get another 2 free codes, lol).
