Ive read a few places that Ford is going to redesign the mustang for 2015 for the 50th anniversary and from what I understand this could be it or what its based on. Its gonna be offered here in the states and overseas so right and left hand drive is going be offered. According to J Mays Design vp(??) the mustang is going to be shorter and lighter an all around smaller car with the posibility of a 4cyl base model (first thing to pop in my mind is mustang II/svo) but it wont carry on the retro theme as in the 05 til now. On a side note to my aussie friends there are rumors of the Falcon being dropped for the Taurus (v6 fwd and awd) Attachments:

Welp... there goes the American look of the car. It's not bad looking, but it looks VERY Euro in my opinion. Meh... If you can't beat em, join em I guess :/

Well thats probably just a concept car at this stage.
I have seen another concept design, I can't find the piccy but I remember thinking it looks more like an aston martin than any stang I have ever seen. A bit like the Concept one they had out for the 2009 stang, but I think they ended up making it a more traditional design in the end.
I gotta say, too mess too much with the original "look" of the stang would take a lot of my love for the car away. Being an Aussie, I grew up as a holden fan, but I always always loved Mustangs.
Theres a couple of old Mustangs one in particular is a red Open top, I dont know the year but 1970's ish, and Since I was young I fell in love with the looks of these cars.
