Where the Hell have I been?

Good Question... I am still around, racing for the Gems every night, but that's been about it.

A couple of weeks ago my Dad passed away and I watched as my younger brother couldn't wait to get his hands on my Dad's stuff. Sickening! What was bad was that I told my dad last March, that he (my brother) would have his (My Dad's) stuff in his house before he was in the ground. Unfortunately, I was right. To top it off, he had the stuff before my Dad left the Morgue. I washed my hands of the rest of my family. Just greedy, back-biting bunch of pathetic losers with a piss poor out-look on life! MAN that feels good! Thanks for the rant...

And now this... I work at a Coal Power Plant. With the EPA Rules MATS (Mercury and Air Toxics Standards) and CASPR (Cross State Air Pollution Rule) it has forced the closing of 6 plants in my company. My plant is fortunate enough to keep 1 unit running. For how long? Who knows? It will cut the manning here in half. I don't expect to be on the winning end of this deal. But I hang on. Trying to do a good job with this lingering above you has been a harder than expected experience.

As far as Gaming, I have been tinkering on an Emulator for the recently shut-down Star Wars Galaxies. Yes, Sony shut down the official game, but there are 2 Emulators out in the world of cyber-space that are re-creating the game on free servers. So, I have been playing on their test server and reporting bugs to help speed the progress.

Let's see, what else? Oh...I have been hitting the treadmill extensively to ease my stress. Been averaging 2.5 Miles in 30 minutes per day. 5 Miles in 1 Hour last Sunday non-stop. Not too shabby for an old man!

Sorry to hear about your dad, Bro. Family comes first before gaming...so I completely understand your absence. Sorry that your younger sibling is acting the way he is...Times like a death in the family should bring people closer together. Sadly, it doesn't always happen that way. Hopefully things will still work out in the end though

On another note... I had no idea you worked in a coal fired plant. I was a Millwright for 19yrs (L.U. 2411). What kind of turbines you running? GE? Westinghouse? Something else? Just curious. I haven't done any Millwright work since 2000, but I still take an interest in what's going on in the field. The damn guberment regulations will be the downfall of this country. Allways talking about "green energy" and "wind farms" when we have a shit-load of coal and gas right here. Not to mention Nuclear. Bastids!

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing and you work worries, but no matter we will still be here when you want a race.

Well I lie I have been pretty slack on the racing front, tho I still come in for a race or 2 when I can.

All the best and hope your work get's better. Our Brilliant Government over here are doing similar things and trying their hardest to turn us into a 3rd world country. It's kinda shit when the Gov'ts lose the plot and reduce the way of life that were used too and out forfather fought for literally, yet they seem to want to go piss it all away without any kind of democratic consent.

Think we need to take our Shovel's and our Hoe's in hand and have a good old fashioned revolution, get rid of all the Inbred Pollies and throw out our Gov'ts before we all have nothing left.
