Give me your ideas and thoughts guys, one thing I did not take into account of course was the currency conversion rates, ex: $20 US is approximately 14Euros... and the fact that EA Cash cards are only valid in the US and Canada.
So, one idea I had was computer hardware, this would of course be done strictly on a donation basis by members, maybe you have a mobo, or some ram sittin around collecting dust, maybe headsets, microphones or other accessories.... its just a thought...
Another idea was, and I have done this for others in the past, change your ea account password, allow the prize giver to login to your account, purchase boost, then you change your password back. I know it takes alot of trust to do this, but, I can't see anyone within this club deliberately hurting anyone's accounts.
I've had other ideas as well, but, i'd like to hear what you guys think.
I know all this costs $$$ and the economy is very tight, but, if there is a $20 - $30 limit set on the prize(s) and if everyone could pop a small donation of $2 - $5, it could be used to buy the prize and ship it if shipping is necessary. Plus, if there is donations from members, then no one would need to be disqualified from the competition as everyone has pitched in equally. If there is enough donations, we could have tier's prizes per level or car so everyone gets a fair chance to win no matter what level you are.

Its good ideas btw Chris I have just contacted EA support with this thread (problem) and im waiting for their answer. I made some kind of a reclame, introduced our Club, so i think we'll make more contests when all things with the rewards will be clear and solved. All i know, the perfect decision would be boost codes, but...

I emailed EA about getting boost codes, and all they gave me was instructions on how to buy boost, twice!... they dont actually read the emails or can't be bothered to answer them without a copy/paste reply.
But doing what we did, by introducing our club, and maybe we will have to open future contests to the NFS World as a whole, we may get recognized and sponsored by EA with codes for boost or cars. I've noticed other boards are able to do this.

Well as far as the prize thing I don't know.
TIER 1 STOCK CAR CHALLENGE My next idea for an event is an elaboration of your last competition. Same rules regarding powerup use and finishing condition will apply and it will be a post your fastest time challenge. We will do 4 tracks a week, And you will need to submit a screenshot of the results as confirmation.
Now Here's the big twist. I would like everyone as an entry condition to use a shop modified Tier 1 Muscle Car. Some may need to use an Alt Driver or even Alt Account to do this but that's not a huge drama. Also, the only Modification allowed are the choice of the basic 4 shop parts only, not the higher level unlocks, so you get just a little scope on how you would like to setup your car.
At the end of 4 weeks racing(4 rounds) we'll do a tally and see how we all stack up Skillwise (or luckwise!!) against each other.
That's basically it, and other Modification I might need to make to the rules before I post it up for perusal and start considering the 1st set of tracks? I'll Provide a Prize of at least 20 bucks worth of something to be worked out yet.

i can post a full story here (my talk with EA support) but i wont do that... They are too busy to get me direct answer according this issue, or too lazy to read what i wrote. Im still waiting for their answer (from senior support level) and i'll let you know when everything will be clear About donation - Chris, we can make a poll and vote everybody (only members) That way we'll know what everybody is thinking about

when i was in forza 2. i ran with a club called 2old4forza we had stock miatas that we used for in club races for contests and tournys. could only change looks and tires obviously lil diff here but. smae idea could work pick a stock car as a group make it the "club" car for tournys and contests. as far as rewards goes we r limited in this game because of the game design. wish they would make boost for igc then u could just have millions give it away

Reward Idea: Steam games can be gifted to even non-Steam members as long as the giver has the receivers email. They have many games in the 20-30 dollar range that could be gifted to someone as a contest prize. One could even allow the winner to pick his/her game if it was in the price specified in the contest rules. The winner would have to open a Steam account to claim the prize if he didn't have one, but that's easy enough to do even if they just went with the free version of Steam. Current List of Racing Games on Steam (Note-The winner wouldn't necessarily have to pick a racing game unless the contest was for that specific game-Also, most of these games are $30 and under...the majority UNDER). store.steampowered.com/genre/Racing/
